All the participating research groups have for years been committed to research and PhD projects within the research school’s areas. All the members are active in international research networks. By utilizing both national and international contacts, the research school constitutes an international platform for both researchers and students.
In a Nordic context, formalized cooperation on coordinating the design research education was established in 2005 via a Nordic research network supported by the Nordforsk – Nordcode network (Nordic network for research on communicative product design, http://nordcode.tkk.fi)
